i don't bruise, i can fit hit pretty hard and not see one, i can feel the pain from it though. why?

Everyone's different: Some people bruise easier than others. I would not worry about any pathology related to it.

Hard to diagnose: type of bite without seeing it.Could you have scratched it and caused a bruise?A bite can bruise on its own.Anyone else at home or work getting bitten?Do u have pets,go outside  ,walk in grass,is the bite on a skin exposed area or normally covered with clothes?many Things to consider.

Blood thinners: If you are on certain medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or other nsaids, these may cause you to bruise more easily. There are blood tests that you can take which help diagnose bleeding problems (ie: pt, ptt). Vitamin k deficiency also causes easy bruising which can be tested for.

Usually quite well: Normal, healthy people who get typical mild or moderate bruises should heal quite well. Humans can recover from mild trauma like bruising. Probably over the past millennia, people who genetically were better at healing passed those genes onward so the human race evolved to the current state where we heal well. The healing process involves replacing the damaged cells over about 2-3 weeks.

If not Lyme, nothing: If the "bruise" is a red circle around the bite site, you need to see your doctor to make sure it is not the first stage of lyme disease, which is transmitted by a species of tick.  If it's just a generic bruise, leave it alone; it will go away by itself.
