Too ealry to worry: Transient eye twitching is very common so don't worry. If it becomes constant and persists for 4-6 weeks a medical workup may be necessary.Your eye doctor should take a thorough medical history to make sure there aren't associated ophthalmologic, neurologic or infectious conditions.

only when driving when i turn left and look at headlights to the right in windshield it appears distorted, almost two shaky images. eye exam was fine.

Spherical: aberration due to the curvature of the windshield. I suspect that both sides of your windshield are slightly curved to blend in with the shape of your car. is there a way to diagnose a retinal tear, hole, or detachment at home? i understand that i need to see an opthomalogist for an eye exam, but are there any warning signs that i can look out for?

: Significant increase in floaters and seeing flashes of light are the common symptoms. Visual defect is one sign of retina problem. You can check your visual field of each eye to compare. You can google "how to do a visual field check?". A friend can help you for this test. Good luck with your formal ophthalmologic exam.

: You are mildly near sighted and have small astigmatism.  Nothing to worry about.  This year is a small change in prescription. I would renew your eyeglass prescription and get an eye checkup every year

my one glasses give me glare when i look at light one of my pairs is a lot less when i dont use glasses its hard to see but, glare is not there i dont think. should i be concerned? had eye exam 9 months ago?

Have glasses checked: Bring the glasses that are showing glare to be checked-you need to get an anti-glare treatment with all of your glasses. This does typically cost a little extra but it decreases most of the glare. If you did pay for this, have the glasses checked to make sure they were properly treated. If you didn’t get this treatment, you can get the glasses treated now. It really is worth the extra money!

Yes: There are 2 reasons that, eyeball length and curvature of the lens. So yes with age apparently nearsightedness becomes less and the curvature of the lens changes also.

had a meeting outside on my computer last night. had a white wall to my left with the sun shining on it. i kept noticing dancing lights in my vision on that side. eye exam a few months ago was perfect. something to be concerned about?

? prior headaches: You may have had a migraine aura triggered by bright sunshine.  Unlikely to be due to eye issues unless you have a vitreous or retinal detachment.  If visual issues have resolved, you have returned to baseline, but if this continues or becomes repetitive, and headaches ensue, prudent to contact your doctor.
