Air: Most likely air getting pushed back up the top end of the esophagus. I cannot think of a concerning problem that presents this way.

i can hear gurgling sound in my throat that worsens when i eat something. is this normal?

No: This sounds like reflux... Your esophagus is relaxing and allowing the contents of the stomach to come up. At a minimum you should take some reflux meds (zantac (ranitidine) or omperazole) which you can get over the counter and you should see a GI specialist.

i get quite bad acid reflux, is it normal for me to hear it gurgling and bubbling in my throat and burning my throat?

Reflux:  o, that's not normal. Are you on any medications ? Are you pregnant? You need to see your doctor and have a work up .

so, post nissen, you swallow and hear gurgle back up to throat, like a had before nissen. now
i have no reflux, but the gurgle. is that because air is hitting the wrap and coming back up? i'm three weeks post nissen.

Post nissen: Hi AmeetG, you will likely notice all sorts of different things. A 'gurgle' is not likely a dangerous finding. Things to looks out for are fever, loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, pain, 'knot in your stomach', and severe bloating that doesnt go away. See your doctor should these issues arise. had nissen one week ago to the day. i meet with my surgeon on monday, but i feel my procedure failed. i swallow and can hear it gurgle back up to my throat. am i still healing and this resolved, or failed nissen?

Dunno but ...: no one is perfect.  One way to document it physiologically is to put a pH probe down your esophagus and stop it above entry into your stomach. If it is sending back that it is reading an "acid" environment then that's telling you that the surgery unfortunately was not successful. On the other hand, if it is not reading an acid state then  stomach contents is not getting up there!

last 3 days, pain in my chest when breathing, when i sleep/lay down i feel and hear a gurgling sound that sounds like its coming from upper chest and throat. cough during day but worse at night. what could it be? & medicine to help?

my infant just aspirated a small amount of liquid vitamins (total dose was 1cc). his voice has gone horse and i hear gurgling in throat. what to do?

Try suctioning: If the gurgling and breathing is severe then call your doctor otherwise try laying baby on belly and propping legs and lower body higher than head with a pillow and see if that helps.  Your infant should cough out or expectorate the liquid. Normally your infant should be able to cough out a small aspiration like this also see if after it clears  if infant can drink normallly.

Coughing: Coughing without producing phlegm is likely related to a viral infection of the lower windpipe. Rattling sounds are due to areas where thick mucus is coating the walls of the airway. Supporting the immune system and monitoring for progression to a bacterial infection or pneumonia will serve you well. Keep your lungs active and cough out what comes up easily. Seek eval if worsening.

sometimes i feel like theres a lump in my superasternal notch, and is sore and inflamed sometimes. it gets a bit worse after eating sometimes. i hear gurgling noises in my throat after burping. my blood test came out okay?

: You may have an esophageal motility disorder or a degree of esophageal inflammation or possible eosinophilic esophagitis. 
 A blood test won't shed any light on these disorders. I recommend consulting a gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice.

Gurgle: Your esophagus traverses your neck and ends up meeting your stomach underneath the diaphragm on your left side. Air and fluid may gurgle, nothing to worry about. Stay calm and carry on.
