Depends: There are a couple different ways to test. Most of the time we do screening just to see what is and what is not the. If i'm concerned i sometimes do quantitative testing which give the levels of the medications. Best thing is to follow the direction of the doc.

Yes,: most of these screening tests are looking for the final metabolite of drugs, which is morphine and Codeine for most (but not all) opiates. Opana is hydromorphone, which is metabolized mostly into morphine and maybe a little codeine. However, positives on screening tests should be confirmed with more sophisticated (as well as expensive) testing.

Oxycontine : Oxycontine and Percocet are basically same compound oxycodone. Only difference is oxycontine is slow releasing oxycodone and Percocet is fast releasing so if u take any of those, your drug test will be positive for oxycodone.Thanks.

Yes they can: oxycodone will show up, depending on when you are tested after taking it, and what your specific metabolic pathways, as oxycodone, oxymorphone, morphine and codeine. Opana, which is hydromorphone will end up as morphine and codeine. At the final stage of metabolism, they both may look the same, but in most people you can tell which they took, sometimes by the ratios of metabolites.

Like Everything Else: They buy it illegally or they get a doctor to write them a prescription. Some perfomers actually do have legitimate pain problems but the lifestyle sometimes leads to other complications and addictions. When you have $$$ $, you can always find those willing to oblige with whatever.

Yes: Please explore your current and past relationships with opiates with an addiction medicine specialist.  And most abused opiates are not going to show up after 2 to 3 days particularly if not regularly abused and urine not especially concentrated.  All the best.
