i am getting over a cold. when i blow my nose my left ear pops and i get sudden vertigo. what should i do?

NOTHING or OTC med: You probably have 'eustacian tube dysfunction.'
this happens when you have inflammation of nose and throat from a viral upper respiratory infection, 'a cold'. The swelling blocks entrance to 'the tube that runs from your throat to inner ear' .The inner ear controls balance hence vertigo is associated.
Decongestatnts may help or just waiting.

when i blow my nose, my right ear feels full and pops but with air/water leaking out of my right eye. is this normal? my left ear is fine

Nose-blowing: Your upper airway connects to your middle ear by the Eustachian tube, and your eye connects via the lacrimal duct. Blowing your nose forces air in both cases - so yes, this is entirely normal. The fullness in your ear may indicate fluid/congestion in your ear, or an ear infection (if pain and fever).

Eustachian tube.: You may have problems with your eustachian tubes in your ears.  They may not be working properly and causing the plugged feeling in your ear.  The sound in your ears when you blow against the closed nostrils is air being forced up this tube.

my ears are popping and i feel dizzy and off balance whenever i blow my nose. headache round left temple. any advice! ?

Middle ear effusion: You may have a blocked eustachian tube causing a collection of fluid in your middle ear which could cause your symptoms. Also significant ear infection could also be causing your symptoms (along with a host of other possible diagnoses)  Best to see your doctor for an evaluation. Hope this was helpful. Allergy: Allergic rhinitis can cause sneezing and eustachian tube dysfunction that can lead to ear fullness. See an ENT doctor for exam and hearing testing. Tinnitus may be related to hearing lost!

Not serious: You may just be plugged with ear wax. A doctor can look in your ears and tell within seconds if that is the problem. Don't poke in there yourself, you might make things worse. Good luck!

Eustachian tube: You are suffering with eustachian tube dysfunction. The eustachian tube connects the space behind the eardrum to the back inside of the nose. Sinus issues (allergy, infection, etc) can cause inflammation of the et so when you blow your nose, pressure builds up. Treat with otc saline sinus rinse, antihistamines/ decongestants, etc. Usually a benign condition but see a doc if severe or lingers.

5 days ago i went to blow my nose and got room spinning and vomited.  right ear is still plugged and still have bad vertigo, how can i clear it up?

Labyrinthitis.: Congestion in the inner ear can lead to dizziness.  This is called labyrinthitis, wherein the inflammation within the inner ear affects the balance mechanism therein, causing episodes of dizziness.  Treating the allergies would make the dizziness go away.  Feels very much like vertigo.
