Hypertension likely: Hypertension occurs commonly with both pcos and with overweight. Discuss with your doctor healthy lifestyle changes to lower your weight and blood pressure.  Continue taking your medications as prescribed.

: I would check BP SEATED , standing and after standing 10 tips up and down on toes. If falls note than 20 report numbers to your Dr and ask what to do. High blood pressure at your age is very rare. Always base diagnosis in 3 BP readings on 3 different days at least 1 week apart. Be certain those measuring BP are following guidelines to get an accurate one. Most don’t . It depends: Different people respond to different hypertension meds], well, differently.  There are some populations have medications that are preferred - for example diabetics are encouraged to be on an ACE inhibitor.  So between differences in people and differences in populations, there is too much variation to say which is best.  Beta blockers have a long history of successfully treating hypertension.

Not really.: lisinopril is an anti-hypertensive medication in a family ACE inhibitors. Generally, it lowers BP without changing the heart rate (pulse). It is not impossilbe, but not likely.  I'd be interested to know what your heart rate was before starting the lisinopril, Suggest taking your pulse rate at different times of day, at rest, after exersice, before and after a meal. Show the log t ur doc next time

how low is too low to take my blood pressure medicine?i started lisinopril for hypertension months ago. occasionally, when i take my bp before taking the med, my bp is a little low. should i not take it, or half, when it's lower than normal?ex:100/75?

: Your blood pressure is normal, not low, because you are taking the medication regularly. So if you hold the medication you defeat the purpose. However, when symptoms of low blood pressure develop the dose can be adjusted by then.
