Dyslipidemia: Iodine lack causes oxidative stress in gut. Thyroid needs iodine. Thyroid uses cholesterol to make hormones - if thyroid is low then body creates more temporary metabolities like lipoprotein a which is very painful since it causes damage to vessel wall with vascular inflammation - to relieve this use Niacin as neuro-htp available from biotics take 4 times a day for headache.

is dermabrasion a good option for someone with rosacea? i have rosacea and medications aren't working very well. is dermabrasion a treatment for rosacea?

Microdermabrasion : Microdermabrasion is not recommended for people who suffer with rosacea. 
In fact. The treatments may clear the skin initially, but what people do not realize is that it will return and be much worse. 
There are new laser treatments that have shown to improve rosacea. Consult a dermatologist who specializes in this type of laser treatment.

i have sciatica and my treatment isnt working. what should i do?

Ok: First ensure the diagnosis is accurate. Not all symptoms in the leg are sciatica. Good thing is  you may successfully manage your symptoms with conservative options including anti-inflammatories (nsaids) if you have no medical contraindications, at times adding neuropathic type medications could also be benefitial. Additionally, physical therapy, home exercise programs, and/or spinal injections.

how long does it take for treatment with tens units to start working?

Varies: Tens (transcutaneous electrical stimulation) is a non-invasive modality to decrease pain perception in many body areas.  The concept is similar to when someone hits a body part and then immediately starts rubbing the area.  The latter sends a lot of non-painful stimulation to the brain and essentially pain impulses are drown out.  The effect is rather immediate and wears off quickly once it's off.

Meige's Syndrome: Unfortunately, there is no cure or prevention for meige's syndrome. Palliative treatments are available, such as muscle injections. 
Rec.: east-west integrative medicine has been known to help.

im suffering harniatic disk from 6 month ago. i take medicine 3 month and excersize also but everything is not working.. and now im not taking medicine and excersize.. i can do my job.. if i dont take any treatment, it can heal itself??

: The spontaneous resolution of disc hernation is possible. In addition, most cases of radiculopathy because of disk herniation are self-limiting, with the symptoms resolving over the course of weeks to months.

what can i do for a uti lasting for 2 months? treatment isn't working.

Need evaluation: Do you have culture proven UTI or just symptoms similar to UTl? Either way you need to have upper tract evaluation with CT and cystoscopy. Need to see a urologist for evaluation because tumors, stones, fistulas can be cause of symptoms similar to UTI or cause UTI that doesn't respond to therapy.

i have warts on my anus. and lately, it has been getting bigger and larger. they don't itch, and i have gone for several cryotheraphy treatment. but it doesn't seem to be working. what should i do?

Continue cryo: You can continue the cryotherapy, sometimes it takes many treatments if they are large warts. Sometimes they even have to be removed surgically if the cryotherapy is not working.

how is oligodendroglioma monitored? how will i know if treatment is working?

Serial MRI's: In most cases, followup MRI's are used to assess size and response to therapies.  Your neurosurgeon can explain more.
