Depends: Endometrial ablation is a procedure designed to decrease menstrual flow or even eliminate it in some instances. A woman's menstrual flow after ablation may be lighter, stay the same or not be present. Increase in menstrual flow or irregular menses warrant evaluation after ablations.

Highly doubtful: but not known. I'm guessing (?) you are referring to what's called "endometrial ablation," the reason is it "burns" the endometrium. It is definitely NOT intended or tested for "burning" adenomyosis, which is in the uterine muscle. Might work, might not, but I doubt it. Question: one 17 mm focus is unlikely to cause significant problems in a 50 y.o. - why do you need to treat it? Good wishes.

A few weeks: Hydrothermablation or HTA uses hot water to destroy the lining of the uterus
The discharge can last for several weeks sometimes. If it is very heavy or smells bad it can be an infection, but that's not very common

Destruction of nerve: It is usually used for medial branch nerve, which supplies facet or articular joints in the back or neck. This nerve only brings back pain information from that joint and does nothing else. When it's destroyed, the pain goes away despite the abnormality remaining there - i.E arthritis.

Absolutely: You should be able to return to your normal level of activity as soon as you feel up to it.

Usually 1-2 days: Most ablations require very little recovery & you should be back to normal after 1-2 days. You need to be at pelvic rest (nothing in the vagina) for 2-4 weeks, but otherwise downtime is minimal. If done under general anesthesia, 1-2 days is usually needed to recover from the anesthetic. Rarely pts may experience severe pain & need up to 2 weeks off to recover. Take the pain meds prescribed!

Not really: The object of the ablation is to stop the bleeding but 5 years out is a long time  and at your age it would not be uncommon for the uterine lining to be reforming  and bleeding to be occurring.
