how often should i see a gynecologist, do a pap smear test and full check up if im a female adult performer? industry standard is to do std test every two weeks, but they dont check for hpv, herpes and ureaplazma how often should i test for these?

: You should get vaccinated for HPV. Ureaplasma is an unusual organism and rarely tested for. Herpes can be checked periodically. But you are exposing yourself to all this and taking a great risk if are having unprotected sex- no matter how often you are tested

i am 50yrs old female i asked about reasons for feeling my insides are being "jabbed " during intercourse. i can only see gynaecologist in july. my problem is now my vagina hurts  during intercourse. no bleeding or pain after.help please?

Dryness: The reason most women in your age group feel the "jabbing" is due to vaginal dryness. Its also the reason you feel pain during intercourse. Try astroglide (not KY jelly) which is water based. Don't use saliva - that dries out and makes it worse.  Also take it slow. You might need to have more foreplay before intercourse to become more lubricated.

ive had an iud (mirena) for 5 years now. my husband and i probably want to get pregnant in 1 or 2 years. do i need to renew it? if yes, can a gp do this or must i see a gynaecologist? thank you!

Renew ?: Any GP who offers to do pelvic exams likely have the training &amp; experience to remove this. It can take  up to a year for fertility to  return after removal of an IUD so if this is your plan I would not put another in. Use another form of BC if you need to plan things after removal.

Yes: See a nurse practioner at a planned parenthood clinic. They are very reliable and knowledgeable. Best of all, it is not expensive to get care there. And usually they have a doctor on staff or by referral that 
has reduced prices for patients
search on your favorite or google: planned parenthood........

Call: Call  some doctors in your area and  ask if ther accept medicaid.  Many mds will accept a certain percentage of medicaid patients per  year.

Depends: Most recommend pelvic exams by 21 or within two years of starting sexual activity.Some peds/adolescent med/fps provide these services as part of ongoing care of their patient population. Any sexual activity  requires surveylance for std's. Your primary care provider may refer you for specific consultations when necessary.

Yes: At the very least, and exam done by a Gynecologist every 3 years will allow a normal or not pap smear and a full assessment of your overall health status to assure that you do not have "any GYN problems" even if you have no plans to use the "equipment" for reproduction or fun (sex).
