Achalasia/ structure: in this 30 yo pt with dysphasia to liquids and solids, an upper endoscopy is warranted +- barium swallow. A mechanical obstruction such as achalasia or esophageal strictures or gastric cancer are possible

i have a problem with solid food feeling stuck in my chest. i had a baruim swallow test, multiple x-rays, and upper edoscopy and they all came normal. so i can't understand what's going on. i'm on a panzaprozale once a day. somebody help me please ?

Hard to know . . .: Since your studies are all normal, it is unlikely that your symptoms are due to a physical blockage. There are, however, problems that we refer to as 'functional'. Esophageal spasms is an example. You may also want to research the term 'Globus' or 'Globus Sensation'. Best of luck

Reflux?: Do you eat late suppers, eat a lot of fatty meals? Are you tasting acid or bile at the back of your throat? Are you drinking more than a little alcohol, smoking?  These are some of the questions that your doctor may ask to clarify the symptoms that you have described.  Some healthy lifestyle choices might make a difference even before you get to see your doctor.

Sore throat: sounds like you have pharyngitis (painful infected throat) or tonsilitis.  You can try some liquid tylenol (acetaminophen) for the pain and if not better soon, see your phyisician

Time to see your doc: You may prescription medications, after physical examination, kindly see your doctor, meanwhile salt water gargles, saline nasal washes and pain killers, unless contraindicated, wish you well

See a doc: This might be related to gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and could be helped with an acid blocker such as omeprazole.  You could try that for a couple of days.  If it persists, though, probably best to see your physician.

A person with GERD should avoid vinegar and other acidic foods or liquids like juice or soda.
