Find the cause: This is likely related to poor digestion, with undigested food being fermented by yeast and bacteria producing gas. This may be due to SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth, yeast overgrowth and lack of hydrochloric acid or digestive enzymes. TMJ: In some folks the joint between the jaw and the skull, the TMJ, can be unstable , and my pop out of joint with wide openings of the mouth. I'm not sure why you experience this with spicy food. I suggest you discuss this with your primary physician and/or your dentist. It's not uncommon that there is little or no pain. (TMJ = temporomandibular joint...that's why we use TMJ) Good luck.

I know this might: Sound odd - but you will actually drop your metabolic rate if you eat like a bird. Recommend making it a point to eat more adequate amounts each day - even if  you are not acutely hungry. You can eat small amounts more often. Take care.

No worries: Some people are very thin and lean and some eat only small amounts but also eat frequently. If she is growing on her growth curve and developing normally then no worries. If you are worried- you can see your pediatrician and i suggest a chinese medicine evaluation as it can be very enlightening on how to balance her system and her diet. I have great success with chinese medicine practitioners.
