how will i know if i am doing a good job pushing?

Pushing : The nurse or doctor will guide you during pushing by placing a gloved finger in the vagina to show you where to push down and will tell you how to do it correctly. She will evaluate if the baby's head is descending in the vagina (birth canal) by doing a vaginal exam to see if the baby's head has come down past the level of the pelvic bone spines. You push during contractions for increased force.

6 weeks: mist surgeons recommend about six weeks before resuming heavy lifting after an open repair.  I tell my parents to limit lifting to 10-15 pounds for first six weeks.  We are trying to prevent a recurrence while healing occurs.    Some debate exist for laparoscopic approaches

job tries to make me feel guilty for when im out sick with lupus. im a very hard worker. they dont have any idea what i am going through when im out sick&push more on me when i return &not yet well.how to deal with work? my md told me i need rest

Ask your boss : Doctors can not guess at the weight of a cart at your job.

i've a slipped disk. if i avoid pushing myself without warming up i forget its even there. but if i reinjure it, every injury feels worse than before.  beginning few days of injury, even sneezing hurts. should i avoid labor jobs if it doesn't hurt?

Yes: Avoiding heavy, physical jobs will be wise, given the damage on your back. Pain sounds radicular through a pinched nerve and heavy lifting, pushing, pulling will definitely exacerbate it.

i have a small (barely noticeable) hump on my nose, can i "push it in" permanently with pressure? i do not want a "nose job", for now.

No: Using pressure will not fix a "hump" on your nose.

Doubtful: Normal physical activity should not cause a miscarriage.

my prescription bp med does a good job getting my systolic perfect but pushes diastolic too low. i hear this is bad and can cause sudden cardiac death?

Systolic BP: Generally, we follow the systolic BP in the outpatient setting -- because the diastolic BP is hardly accurate using the portable BP machine -- then again, if you don't feel well, regardless of the numbers, you need to seek medical attention ok.

Foot fractures: A fracture is usually the result of an injury to the foot. A stress fracture can be caused by repetitive motion and stress on an area of the foot.
