Avoid stimulant (caffeine etc) use after 3pm n don't exercise too late, no computers/games in room. Lower the light. Melatonin may help. Good luck..

Not due to awakening: If you arise rapidly, your blood pressure may temporarily drop, causing the visual issues.  Does especially occur with dehydration, and can be associated with many medications.  Some with migraine may experience a similar problem.  If this causes faintness, or you feel dizzy, best to seek further medical attention.
