Ankle sprain: Generally, a twisted ankle is another term for a "sprained ankle".  This is either a rotation with the foot turned in or out and the leg turning with the foot or against it. Why?: I'm not quite sure i understand -- are you planning to break your own ankle?  My honest answer is that this is a  really bad idea.  Ankle breaks are no fun, and depending on the injury, can be very complicated to repair and take a long time to heal.  If it's attention you want, i suggest you (at 18?) speak with a trusted adult about your feelings -- and very possibly a therapist as well.

Ankle sprain: Sorry about your injury.  Depending on severity of the injury, the pain and swelling can last a while especially without proper rest, stability with brace, icing and elevation.  Advil (ibuprofen) is an appropriate NSAID option but if the pain is getting worse, please see your physician.  You may have a more severe injury and require imaging (x-rays) and further treatment.

RICE: Rice.
Rest- 24 to 28 hrs. Avoid activities that require use of  your ankle. Ice- for  first 2 days after injury, apply ice for  15 to 20 minutes every few hours. A bag of frozen peas is good.
Compression- you can wrap your foot, ankle & lower leg with an ace wrap. Make sure it is not so tight that it decreases your circulation. Elevate- elevate  ankle above your heart.  Can prop on a pillow.

Yes if painful: Apply iced, keep foot elevated, if you have an ace bandage apply it. You can take an antiinflammatory if not contraindicated. 
See, how you feel. If you can walk without a problem, likely okay, if anything worse considere a sprain or possibly a fracture.

Ankle Sprain: It may heal on its own with rest, ice, compression and elevation and a gradual return to your normal activities. However, a period of time in a boot or use of crutches may be necessary depending on the severity.
