Peeling skin: Skin peels so that dead cells can be eliminated and new cells can emerge. Several different conditions can cause the skin on the area of the toes to peel. They include athlete's foot and dry skin. Skin on the toes that continues to peel may require a visit to the doctor.

Not psoriasis: This doesn't sound like psoriasis. A dermatologist could assess you and advise you.

Try: There are many medications for this which is hyper hydrosis. Look into botox, seriously it has shown to stop sweating or deodorant. Powders without corn starch. Most likely a fungus between the toes.

my six year old daughter diagnosed by ped. with scabies on her feet and in the web of her fingers. two weeks later, a couple of bumps left on the top of her feet. my concern is under feet. under both big toes cracked, dry, peeling skin...normal?thxs

Cracked peeling skin: The cracked, dry, peeling skin most likely due to athlete's foot and not related to scabies infestation.  There are several over the counter anti-fungal preparations that can be used to treat the feet.

Probably: Very young babies (under 1 month) peel frequently and this is very normal.  Older babies may peel as a result of dry skin.  However there are some skin conditions snd infections that may cause this so pls mention to your pediatrician.

Fungus: Most likely fungus/athletes foot.  Misconception that it always itches.  Try OTC Micatin (miconazole) spray or lotrimin cream

Athletes foot: Sounds like you have a fungal infection called Athletes foot. Try some over the counter athletes foot cream as directed. If it doesn't get better in a week or if you have diabetes then you should see a health care professional for evaluation. Could also be from too tight shoes. Wear sandals for a while instead.

Fungus: It sounds like you have a fungal infection.
Use over the counter antifungal such as Lotromin, Tinactin (tolnaftate)
