You don't: Goal of treatment is not to treat high lh.  It is to regulate the periods in women not trying to get pregnant, help with fertility in women who are, improve Insulin resistance and treat excess hair growth and hair loss and prevention of diabetes and high chol.  High lh is just a marker that pcos may be present but is not used for diagnosis.

PCOS: If you have PCOS it cannot be eliminated or cured. Overweight women with PCOS can improve cycles and symptoms with weight loss, but many with PCOS are not overweight. Medicines, including but not limited to birth control pills can help, for some women there is a surgical procedure that can be used.

Diet, Exercise, OCPs: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is caused by a hormonal imbalance that prevents follicles from growing normally and eggs from being released each month. People w/ PCOS miss periods because they don't ovulate, so there's no signal to shed the uterine lining. Hormone imbalances that lead to abnormal hair growth can be caused by obesity, so watch your diet and exercise. Control w/ birth control pills!
