Many people just simply brush briefly which only cleans the outside of teeth/gum, but in between+inside are left untouched..Bacteria grow and causes your gum to be sore and bleed etc..Take care of your teeth--u got first 2 sets free, thereafter it's expensive. Need more info: Please describe the lesion more – does it hurt? Did you mean "infection" as opposed to "inflation "? How far does it protrude? Is it in the gum at the gumline? You may need to ask for a consultationin order for a doc to see it.

Sensitivity: Certainly after an operation and cavity procedure, the gums can be inflamed and sensitive.  If it persists, then see the dentist and get an evaluation of the area. There are some crams that can help, but get eval to assure all is stable and the area is not infected.  Best wishes.
