Mixed: "scalp acne" is sometimes caused by pityrosporum yeasts in contrast to facial acne.  There are benzoyl peroxide shampoos in drug stores, and these fail, a good dandruff shampoo or a prescription ketoconazole shampoo would be worth a try.
