See a doctor: Heavy bleeding while taking birth control pills is not common, and could be a sign that you are pregnant, have anatomic abnormality (like uterine fibroid), or that the bleeding is not coming from inside the uterus and is coming from the cervix instead.  
Changing brands should not make any difference.

Anemia: There are many causes of anemia. You state you have severe anemia. You deserve a workup to discover the cause of your anemia. When you loose whole blood, as in menstrual bleeding, that shouldn't cause anemia which is a measure of the concentration of red cells in your blood.

No effect: Isotretinoin does not change your menstrual cycle. That is why it is vital for women of childbearing age to have a pregnancy test before starting to take the medication and a new test every month before starting the next months treatment. You should be using two forms of birth control to prevent pregnancy as this medication can cause severe abnormalities in a developing fetus.

im on the depo shot. and i started my period but its more of like mucus blood clots.? i dont know how explain it, i was supposed to stop my period 2 days ago, but now its just blood clots its not normal?

Could be normal: I am assuming the depot shot is Provera. Not sure when you started or why, birth control, can be menstrual irregularities or something like that. In the beginning these are common side effects, the length of time you are taking the depot shots usually subside most symptoms. Make sure you mention to the provider you are getting the shots from during your next visit.

Don't know the: reason. The main reason for light periods is a change in hormone levels. Causes for what seems to be a light period can include: implantation bleeding in early pregnancy, thyroid problems, eating disorders, excessive exercise, initial periods for a girl, use of an intrauterine device, oral contraceptives &amp; perimenopause.
