These doctors know all about antibiotics and allergies... including cross-reactivity and trying to 'treat through' some allergies. There is something called desensitization-if needed. Essentially the benefit of antibiotics has to be measured against potential harm. So I would say u need a specialist

Neuropathy: Sounds like a nerve problem, so we'd call it neuropathy. It can be caused by anything damaging a nerve. Shingles or herpes can do this, but if it has been going on for 2 weeks I'd expect there to be spots or bumps or something showing on the skin by now. It can also be caused by your immune system attacking the nerve or by the nerve being pinched in your spine or elsewhere. See your doc for help.

Where in the forehead: in the center vs on either side of forehead? Are there any other symptoms: fever, trouble with vision or any other symptoms? "Burning" type pain often signifies a problem with a local nerve to the involved area.
