No: There is no "magic" length where hair stops growing.  As long as it is not plucked, cut, burnt or otherwise maimed, the hair follicle can continue to lengthen the hair indefinitely as long as it has sources of dietary protein.

Please do not take any products sold to increase body hair.  They are dangerous.  Above all, be neat, clean, treat others the way you would like to be treated.  This is much more attractive than body hair, which many people shave off anyway.  Peace and good health.

Because we can?: Genetics determines how much body hair a man can grow. Personal preference determines whether he shaves / trims / "manscapes" it. There's no moral right or wrong here. Many men prefer to shave and nowadays many women prefer a shaved man. If you find male body hair disagreeable, there are plenty of naturally smooth and shaved men.

Hair Growth: What about as we get older, does growth slow down?  As we live and breathe we are growing hair, but older age can bring with it variables that are not optimal for hair growth. Thus it seems that it grows more slowly. But a quick look around at the people in our lives suggests that they still trimming and coloring, so perhaps the frequency has changed somewhat.
