Depends.: Are you bleeding because its your menses? Is it a random bleed. Hard to know without more information. How large is the cyst? Is it symptomatic?

Cysts can come back: Depending on what kind of cyst it was, some can reoccur. Are you trying to get pregnant? Are you using birth control? There are ways of preventing cyst formation. See a Provider and check this out!

Menstrual bleeding: The cysts  may not be the cause of your bleeding. You will need a pelvic exam, PAP and endometrial biopsy  with a transvaginal ultrasound. Please consult with your GYN and make an appointment to be seen.

Ovarian cysts: Ovarian cysts , follicular cyst ruptures are common and painful. Often they are self-limiting but sometimes blood accumulates and can require surgery. If the pain persists would see gynecologist for pain and management and assessment

just had stitches removed from a pilonidal cyst excision. the wound was not fully healed and one day later it won't stop bleeding. what can i do?

Here are some...: Minor bleeding of various degree is expected at this stage of healing. All what you have to do is flush the wound for cleansing, paint it with betadine solution, and place 4x4 gauze with some pressure as long as having no bleeding tendency. This wound takes time to heal - as long as 1-3 months depending on its size and personal healing ability. Of course, ask your surgeon as needed.

Keep open: You actually want to keep the cyst open.  Premature closure can lead to abscess.  Unfortunately the area involved is sensitive.  Usually keeping this area covered with a "feminine napkin" will provide ample coverage until fully evaluated by your doctor.  Fever and increase bleeding warrants an er visit.

See your surgeon : There may be residual cyst or foreign body such as hair strand underneath that cause periodic inflammation and may need to re-excise it.

Sounds like no: If you are not having regular menstrual cycles then it is not likely that you are ovulating or at least not ovulating consistently. If you are trying to conceive schedule a visit for official ovulation testing and to discuss treatment options.

Cyst and bleeding: Except for a few very specific circumstances, a ruptured cyst does not usually lead to uterine bleeding. Other causes need to be addressed.
