i often will vomit after eating meats that are cooked in their own juices, can't eat gravy or anything high in grease, garlic or fat. why?

Accepted Answer

May be stomach or : Gallbladder. If stomach is inflamed/ulcerated, fats can stimulate more acid causing more irritation. Fats can also exacerbate reflux. More likely is gallbladder problem: gb stores bile & secretes it to help digest fats; fats cause it to contract. May have gallstones or reduced gb function or gb inflammation. See pcp for evaluation, tests, options for treatment. In meantime, avoid fatty triggers.

on the news today was the pink slime in ground meat. is pink slime bad? is it just the blood and juices that drip off the cutting tables?

Probably bad: Pink slime is a phrase that is used to describe food-grade meat trimmings that are used as filler in certain meat products. I believe this has been happening for years. As far as health is concerned, the more processing our food undergoes the less nutritious it becomes until it is just empty calories. The healthiest food is typically freshly harvested and minimally processed.

does red meat have any affect on my intestines if i have been juicing for two months?

Can't undo bad.: You can't undo bad in your diet by doing good at other times.  The bad will still be bad.  So in general, you can't undo any deleterious effects of meat by just juicing.  Increase the good and minimize the bad to be healthy.

i have cuts on my hand and was cutting meat for dinner that was pretty bloody. some of the blood and juices got into my cuts. should i be worried?

Tetanus immunisation: It is ideal that you visit your nearest Urgent Care centre to get a tetanus booster if you haven't had one in the past 5 years. You need to clean your wound thoroughly to avoid getting an infection

Unlikely : Unless you are actively inhaling the fumes for long periods directly at the source I would not worry.

Great: Yoga is excellent both mentally and physically.  No laws against any food as long as you count it into the totality of your daily intake.

Sail meat &amp; fat: If you soak hot meat in hot water that covers it and let it cool in refrig the far will solidify and be on top where it can be removed easily.

Not meat...: It's not a piece of meat, but likely a hemorrhoid (can also feel like a little ball coming out of the anus).  But, i'd get this checked out to make sure it's nothing more concerning.
