Treatable- see Dr: See a Dr. They can perform tests including iodine-starch test, skin conductance and a thermoregulatory sweat test to determine the patterns and type of sweat disorder. Treatment includes prescription antiperspirants, creams containing glycopyrrolate, nerve blocking meds, antidepressants, and astringents containing tannic acid. Surgical treatments are also available for extreme cases.

No sweat...: Start by rubbing anti-perspirant into your palms. Carry it around with you. Unless you want to smell like a gas station restroom, get the unscented kind. Use it when necessary. If you think it would look weird, mix it up with some hand cream.  If that doesn't work, there are other things to try. Check out:

A good bath: Given the activity level of most children, they do tend to sweat - even if not to a noticeable degree visually. A good bath once a day or (even twice in some cases - like after sports) can make a difference. A musty smell can also come from clothing that is not dried entirely after laundering. This mildewy odor can be difficult to get rid of.

Drysol: For perspiration that doesn't respond to the usual antiperspira)nts, topical aluminum chloride is one of the best. Drying agents (such as xerac ac) which you might need a presciption for. A mild deoderant is tom's but this isn't the best drying agent.

Try this.: Hygiene and diet may contribute to your condition.  Some disease such as diabetes can cause yeast infection and odor in this area.  Also local skin allergies and irritations may need addressed.  Ask you primary care giver to help you understand the various factors.  Hope this helps.

R/O Diabetes: Yeast infections in the areas mentioned can be indicative of diabetes.  Especially, since you describe yourself as obese.
I would obtain an A1C test to exclude diabetes.
Please keep the areas dry.  Might want to try Zeasorb AF powder on the affected areas.  Can be obtained from the drug store.
