Clarify details....: There is no medications in the US given to "prevent" TB. I think you may be referring to Tuberculin Skin test (TST)- this is given to determine if a person has been exposed / infected with TB. Your husband is at risk of getting exposed to an inmate with TB (NOT from the TST) in every correctional facility he goes in to, and may explain the frequency of testing.

Not major issue: The cellulitis is likely well circumscribed and not very infectious unless an open sore is present.  In this day and age, however, must be cogniscent of flesh-eating strep, and drug resistant mersa, (staph), so contact the patients doctor, make sure you observe careful sterility and assure that patient is being effectively treated with antibiotics.

Lifestyle: Getting enough sleep, eating a healthy diet, minimizing stressors are the best ways to minimize the effects of flu and cold. To avoid getting them, wash your hands frequently especially after contact with patients and surfaces that may be exposed to cold or flu viruses, such as counter tops. Depends on stage: If TB skin test + but negative chest xray  & no symptoms+ no need to be separated from the infant. These individuals are often on TB meds & are considered low risk for spreading the germ. Those with new or active disease are separated from baby until disease status is confirmed & pt & baby receive meds & TB pt wears a mask. Specific  issues should be confirmed with local specialists.

TB treatment...: It looks like you were treated for an active TB infection. Assuming the sensitivities of your TB organism were known, the best way to prevent relapse is to complete the prescribed medication therapy. If you completed the prescribed therapy, then see your doctor for regular check-ups and report any symptoms like fever, night sweats, productive cough, etc. Meantime, study hard!

Any other symptoms?: Other than tightness in the upper mid abdomen, any other symptoms like heart burn, nausea/vomiting  etc present? If so it could be gastritis. Avoid eating spicy foods, cut down fried foods . Try initially OTC antacids. If still there , consult your PCP.

LP shunts: Lp shunts are problematic and prone to needing revision.  I place multiple holes in the tubing and place the tubing in the bent down position.  There are multiple problems with them and to a great extent there is some luck involved.  What is the shunt treating?

Yes and No to Wurn: Wurn technique has been used by some to relieve post-op adhesions and pain by deep tissue massage. The concerns include worry about other underlying causes of pain/obstruction. Be mindful of the body's use of pain to signal for more attention. Consider involving  your GI doc, physical therapist, dietician and Wurn technique in your quest to avoid future obstructions. My vote goes to diet and yoga.

Muscular: There could be a mildly strained abdominal muscle. If the upper abdomen becomes quite painful and tender, a physician should examine you. In the meantime avoid any strain of the abdominal muscles.
