Food poisoning risks: As a general rule, food that has been cooked and has steam coming off of it is 'safe' - since few germs can survive heat like that. Foods that are washed (or not washed!) and eaten raw or undercooked have higher risk. Think of salads or the undercooked hamburger in summertime.  An ID doc may be able to nail down the cause with a good food history &amp; accounting of symptoms. This pizza is innocent!

Depends: In general it is not the best practice to eat raw dough. However, if the dough has egg in it then it can be very dangerous. Many eggs are contaminated with salmonella and can make you sick if they are eaten raw

Ok if no: contamination. Raw dough, in small amounts, is not harmful in itself, but if the pizza was not prepared under sanitary conditions the micro-organisms in it may be harmful. Raw dough, if you eat enough of it, may give you an upset stomach.

It's probably fine: The likelihood of you getting an infection from under cooked dough is very low. The risk to your baby is even lower. If you develop severe abdominal pain or bloody diarrhea, go see your doctor. Hope this helps!

i had a cat scan with contrast 2 hours ago & then just now im having pizza & it tastes incredibly salty. i used the same dough, sauce & cheese i always use. could the contrast from the iv cause this?

: If the IV contrast material you received was iodide based, a salty taste has been a reported side effect. It was quite transient,however. I'm unsure whether the salty taste would last 2 hours.

: The transmission is lessened in outdoor spaces. Please use a mask while not eating. The table may be arranged with spaces in between dining chairs. All eligible members should have a COVID-19 vaccination and Flu vaccination.

Prob more fattening!: While a pizza with meat toppings generally has more calories, a vegetarian pizza is likely more fattening! this is because the most fattening part of the pizza is the crust ; having meat with it slows digestion of the crust. Thus, vegetarian pizzas have a higher glycemic index than meat pizzas ; foods with high glycemic indexes are more fattening.Having protein with your veg. Pizza will help this.
