my 35 year old son thinks he has trichomycosis axillaris.. his armpit hairs are yellowish, he shaved the hair off but is there something the can put on the area to prevent this from coming back with the new hair growth..does he need a doctor for this?

i'm 23 years old male. i only have body hair growth in my legs,armpits and groin. i don't have beard growth or chest hair. is this normal or do i have some kind of hormonal problem?

: This isn't necessarily abnormal, but it's atypical at your age, especially absence of beard growth. If you have normally developed penis and testicles, normal voice change since adolescence, and normal sexual function (erections etc) and urges, it reduces the chance of a hormonal problem. If still in doubt, see an endocrinologist for professional evaluation. Good luck.

Puberty: Boys develop facial, axillary and genital hair when they go through puberty.  The timing depends on many factors we don't understand including genetics so typically boys will do what their fathers did.  However there seems to be a trend toward earlier puberty these days.  We do not know why but i suspect some hormonal influences from the foods we eat or our environment.

Unfortunately not: That would be s wonderful thing for lots of people if only it would work that way. Laser hair removal is about the closest thing you will get to stoping the hair from not coming back.

THERE IS ALSO THE MATTER OF YOUR GENES.
