It is a 10% diet and has proven better, with mucho better support than other more recent supplements and drugs. NO: Fish oil will have some effect on triglycerides and any fiber will block some cholesterol from being absorbed in the gut.
But you should not rely on any of these things to improve your cholesterol in any significant way.
First treatment is decent diet to lower LDL and exercise to increase hdl. Then, depending on other risk factors and levels you may need real meds. There is no proof on red yeast.
