i used to go to the gym and lift weights but i feel discomfort and the ct shows a small umbilical hernia of 0.5cm only herniating while straining ... what should i do and can i go to the gym ?

: You can wear a protective belt over it before lifting. But if there is increase in size or pain you will need it to be repaired. Avoid sudden heavy exertions
