No studies: Unfortunately at this time there are no studies which have been done to determine effects of MACA on birth control. Since MACA is a hormonal adaptogen (meaning it supports production of the body's natural hormones) it may in theory increase your own natural hormones. Whether this would interfere with birth control or not is not clear. Start slow and use a backup method of Birth Control.

No: Pcos can disturb ovulation & fertility.  The woman free of this condition would have better chances.  By "older, " though, i hope you don't mean post-menopause?  Pregnancy would not happen for either woman after that point.

: Avoid the garbage spread  by the non-qualified , specially on the 'net. It has no affect on fertility. Always ask the prescribing doc about any side effects when you get an RX to prevent such worries. Keep well.

Herbs: There are several herbs that can be helpful. My favorite is maca - there is a specific strain that works on female hormones. Typically, the herbs that will help will modulate hormones. I would also have your thyroid, sex hormones and adrenal hormones checked. Assess for food allergies and nutrient deficiencies as well as mthfr abnormalities.
