if i chose radiation over surgery for prostate cancer and the cancer came back.  would that mean my body would get too much radiation?

Talk to doctor: Generally speaking, the doctors only treat the body with as much radiation as it can tolerate.  Nothing is absolutely certain in this life and cancers do recur after radiation treatment.  They also can recur after surgery.

i was diagnosed with prostate cancer in mid 2019.  surgery was conducted 11/6/2019. since my recovery is progressing well. i am 58 and want to get back into a solid exercise routine. do you have a recommendation for a plan or resource for my situation?  t

Nothing special: It has been more than 6 months since surgery and you may engage in any exercise you like. Start gradually and increase the time and intensity of exercise as tolerated. It would be useful to engage in weight bearing exercises to maintain your bone health.
Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

ive had my prostate checked and had a kidney stone taking out. i still get up after about four hours of sleep because i have a little bit of a burn and i have to pee. ive also been checked for a uti i came back negative. any help would be awesome

: If you recently had cystoscopy done for prostate exam and stone retraction what you are feeling is normal and it should gradually resolve.

is it possible to have prostate removal with water infection that is hard to get rid of came back as kidsella infection. enlarged prostate possibly prostate cancer has high psa levels but could be due to infection?

:  Trying to understand your multi-questions question. There are some ways to treat an enlarged prostate  (In men over50yrs) with water 'steam' injection. Yes PSA can also be high due to prostate infection. Prostate removal is not done for persistent infection. I hope this answers your query

Consult: Difficulty with erection is a recognised side effect of radical prostate surgery. There is no way to go and 'reconnect' all nerves. Discuss options with your urologist.

rough encounter 11 weeks ago with random urethritis/epididymitis symptoms since. neg cultures, uas, stis, and prostate. only choices given now are neuropathy or cystoscopy. would the cysto help explain? could damaged nerves eventually heal?

Lexapro (escitalopram) hits brain: not the penis nor the penile nerves. THat being said, lowered libido and consequent lowered sexual function is quite common with all the SSRI anti-depressants.
These are effects that occur when the drug is there, and not when it is not there.

Prostate Massage: : There is no medical or health field that includes prostate massage.  Men are usually able to massage their own prostate and this combined with ejaculation helps diminish the swelling or pressure in the prostate gland.

You can also teach or ask a sexual partner to help you with this.

Prostate check: If you dont have any relatives with prostate cancer or family history of prostate illness, every men should start at the age of 50. If you have any personal record o family history, you should start at the age of 45.

The check up consist in a review of your prostate antigen (blood exam), and maybe a digital rectal exam if your doctor consider necessary. Its important to do the check ups annualy.

Age related: If you are over 50, checking the prostate should be a routine part of a physical examination.  It is slightly uncomfortable, a bit embarrasing, but useful so done worry about it.  You of course will be checked if you have symptoms related to urinary flow.
