Benadryl (diphenhydramine): Sounds like an allergic reaction, so first thing, stop using the gel.  Try benadryl, (diphenhydramine) and see the dr. as you may need a steroid taper as well.  Good luck.

Photosensitivity: It sounds like you're describing a photosensitivity, which could be more than a simple sunburn. If you were on medication when u were 'over exposed' to the sun like that, this could explain the rash appearance. The good thing about the skin is it regenerates quite quickly, so hopefully the sun damage will disappear in a couple weeks. See a dermatologist if you need more help or try posting photos.

Beware of those dentists who want to rid you of all your toxic mercury leaking fillings.  May be wanting to increase thier income.

Antibiotics: It depends on where you are.  3 days of Ciprofloxacin is often used for travelers' diarrhea.  In some parts of the world, Erythromycin or Azithromycin may be a better choice.  See a doctor rather than treating yourself if you have a high fever, abdominal pain, or bloody diarrhea, or if you feel you can't keep yourself hydrated.

Please elaborate!: Rust=iron oxide and poisoning or toxic level is very unsual. Stepping on rusty nail won't do it and if consuming enough to cause poisoning will like cause lots of GI distress first. Superficial skin contamination/abrasions can be washed with soap and water..Antibacterial soap does not add much value at all, just more chance of creating bacterial resistance. Consult doc if u r concerned. Good luck.
