Rosacea: You may have rosacea.  To help these bumps there are certain triggers you can avoid and also some prescription cream/lotion that might help.

Meds: Many patients do well with over the counter benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid preparations. Some patients require topical or oral antibiotics or retinoids as well. If the over the counter meds alone don't control your acne after a month of daily use, see a doctor for additional treatment options. It is important to be persistent, and some patients 'get worse before they get better'.

Grieving Time: Hello, 
Once you get a big one,  my recommendation is to first GRIEVE as this lump is likely not going away in the next 48 hours.  This grieving process will decrease stress and prevent the downward spiral.  
Then,  attack it with full fury with hot compresses many times a day and dry it up a bit. You also have the option of a cortisone injection.   Better prevention is key.

: Acne can be tricky to care for, because the treatments tend to be drying.  Gentle soap and water followed by a drying agent such as benzoyl peroxide is a safe option, along with use of a washcloth to help clear the flakes.

i used topical treatments on my acne and some of the blind pimples left a bump as if the head is still underneath. i believe its not scar as i din't pop it. can i know if it will go away on its own or is there somthing i should do to get rid of it ?

Manage it: Listen friend. Most of what you read / hear about acne is not true. You'll scar from a bad pimple whether or not it pops. If it's this severe, you need to prevent new pimples from forming -- you can do nothing about what's happened. Keep loading on the topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid and get with your physician to add some prescription Rx for a few months. Best wishes.

Infection vs ingrown: Some people get folliculitis an infection along the hair follicle.  Perhaps the barber's equipment is not clean? !  Topical antibiotic ointment can help or in bad cases,  oral antibiotics from your doctor.  Sometimes people can get a fungal infection (Tinea Capitis - google it).  Another possibility in ingrown hair if the haircut was very short.  In that case you need to keep the hair longer.

None are easy: Acne is a chronic, non-lifestyle-related disease that is a serious personal and professional liability. Start with 5% topical benzoyl peroxide 2x/day. If you are not clear in two weeks, get with your personal physician for prescription-strength medication, or if you are in as much of a hurry as you say, get with your physician now.
