Antibiotic/chalazion: Sometimes tetracycline by mouth is used to treat, especially is chalazia is large or inflammed.. There is clinical evidence that it helps reduce the size significantly.

Conservative vs: Excision and drainage.  Have an eye care specialist look at it, determine how long it's been around, whether it's still inflammed, how large it is, usually can re-absorb on its own after many months, but also can be excised to go away faster.

I &amp; D: I recommend an appointment with an ophthalmologist to evaluate and suggest a treatment for you. These eyelid problems (Chalazion, Hordeolum) are often common and effectively treated. Advice can also be given to you as to how to lessen recurrence. Good luck.
