You can: You can titrate down Zoloft (sertraline) as tolerated. If you are sensitive then do it in gradual dose reduction each week. It could be by mg or 12.5 mg reduction. However, I hope that you are doing this in consultation with your doctor because the symptoms that Zoloft (sertraline) was taking care of can recur after a few weeks to few months. Be on the lookout for that.

hi there ive started zoloft ive only had half 2 two days and dont want to take these just doesnt sit right with me if i stop will i get withdrawals?

: If you have only had two half doses, you will not experience withdrawal symptoms.  However, if you are having side effects from medicine, you should talk with your prescribing doctor about alternatives.  If your side effects are mild, you may consider continuing treatment as mild side effects with these meds usually resolve around 2-3 weeks into treatment.

If you were to: Have side effects you could feel some shortly after taking the medication. For instance, if you were to have insomnia it could occur that night. If you had initial irritability  that could start the same day. Other side effects may take longer to develop. Relax. Paradox with Zoloft (sertraline): It is possible to have a paradoxical reaction to an antidepressant such as zoloft (sertraline).  These reactions: increasing anxiety or feeling no emotions means it is time to try a new medication.  This is not dangerous but it is common and needs to be addressed by the professional who you have been working wth.

Yes: Antidepressants like zoloft (sertraline) do have  side effects. Some patients feel that their mood sort of flattens out and they do not get overly excited or angry in appropriate situations. Usually as the depression lifts with appropriate dose, then the mood improves and energy & motivation is restored. More OCD treatment: It looks like you're being treated for depression and OCD. It also sounds like the treatment for the OCD is NOT working well- suggest you get in to see and talk to a psychologist and psychiatrist to sort things out. Go easy on yourself, and trust it will get better with time and regular medication
