You are unstable : Chronic instability at your age usually means a rotator cuff tear. You need to see an orthopedic surgeon. You may need a MRI and surgery.

Not great options: Most people who want a brace for shoulder instability use it for sports. Those braces restrict shoulder motion to a safe zone where the shoulder won't dislocate. They can be very restrictive. Depending on the sport and position played, this restriction may or may not allow appropriate participation. If you need a brace for everyday activities, see your ortho doc.

rounded shoulders causing shoulder and neck pain. is wearing a posture brace to bring the shoulders back a good idea? will it weaken muscles?

Exercise is better.: It is far better to exercise and strengthen the muscles in your shoulder and back to correct posture.  See your doc, and get a referral to a physical therapist if necessary and to be sure you don't have scoliosis or another problem of the spine that is affecting your posture.  Stronger muscles will help no matter what the cause, though.

the severe pain in my shoulder & arm is getting better w/wearing a cervical brace at night, but now my arm tingles to my fingertips whenever i lift my arm. i still cannot fully turn my head to the left. am i getting better or worse?

?plexus issue: See your doctor and get examined.  Your post suggests this is more likely to be nerves over the shoulder(brachial plexus) and not the neck.  Although impossible to say whether this is improving or not, the severity and limitations should be addressed ASAP.  You need a diagnosis and appropriate therapeutic intervention.

3 days after 5th shoulder dislocation, took off brace to work on computer now have a dull pain under armpit. can barely move without pain?

Put sling on: Sorry to hear about your shoulder problems. You may want to put the sling or immobilizer back on in the short term as it helps to take the weight of your arm off your shoulder girdle and may help the pain and 'dead arm' sensation. See an experienced ORS for exam and treatment options.(P.T.to strengthen muscles or possibly surgery to stabilize)...Best of Luck!

the doctor told me i have carpal tunnel and to wear a wrist brace and take aleve (naproxen). how else can i releve pain in my shoulder and neck?

hurt foot: jumped up, landed on it rolled. swollen and badly bruised, barely any pain. walking fine w out brace. no dr yet. how long before exercise?

6-8 weeks: 6 to 8 weeks to be safe, but you can swim or bicycle in the meantime. Walking as tolerated. No jogging until pain and swelling are gone. Remember RICE, a mnemonic for rest, ice, elevation, and compression with an ACE bandage for sprains. If pain increases or pain near outer side below knee, see your PC doctor for exam.

Musculoskeletal pain: Would not try to work through shoulder pain, as it will probably just worsen.  Need to let the injury heal and avoid shoulder exercise until it feels better.

Relax: If there is no major injury then I would start with rest, ice/heat, anti-inflammatories if ur doctor allows  these kinds of meds.  If no change get in and see ur doc
