Find good holist: Fad diagnoses like "SIBO" do people a disservice -- most of the medical community doubts that they are prevalent as their proponents claim, and have you noticed that nobody ever gets better? Hereditary Neuropathy with pressure palsies is an easy diagnosis that any neurologist can make and manage, or refute. You need an ethical, evidence-based, holistically-savvy physician. Best wishes.

saw a neurologist, showing clear signs of hnpp, but parents never showed signs. need insurance for testing,but is  probability low for being positive?

HNPP: Hereditary neuropathy with sensitivity to pressure palsy is of variable penetrance and can be so mild in a parent that it is missed, or you may be a new mutation. Apart from your perhaps having an entitlement to special shoes, there's really no treatment and hence it's not always worth doing confirmatory genetic testing, such as exists anyway. You don't want a nerve biopsy. Best wishes.

Hand pain: Are you  stiff in he AM? How long have you had the pain? Are you having swelling? All of these, if present, could suggest a type of arthritis. I would see a rheumatologist.
