i have pain in my right knee when rising from deep squat exercises - what could this be?

Knee pain: Depends.  Is this a sudden problem or have you had it a long time?  Do you run or exercise with jumping or do you have an occupation that is hard on your knees.  Are you an athlete?  Have you ever injured your knees?  This could be a ligament or cartilage problem or a tendon inflammation.  Many possibilities.  If it continues then you need medical attention.

after standing several hours, or doing heavy squat exercises (60kg) i sometimes experience light to medium low back pain. it is a kind of dull, somewhat painful feeling for about a day. is this purely a muscle imbalance issue and can i safely ignore ?

I know this for: males, but not necessarily for females. Study on males with muscle build up showed a 50% decline in muscle that was built up with 6 months of slacking ONLY IF MIDDLE AGED or older, not in teens/twenties. See

Exercise effect: Doing exercise will firm muscles and reduce  fatty tissue.  In the case of your buttocks any increase in muscle mass from exercise will firm your buttocks.   The exercise should signifantly reduce butt size size due to the toning effect and reduction in fatty tissue.

Maybe: You're on the right track. Look at volleyball players. They are running and jumping for hours at a time. Small size is mostly genetic, so you're going to have to accept the basic frame that you have been given; however, you can sculpt what you have. All the exercise in the world won't give you a j-lo rear end if you're not programmed to be shaped that way.

do squats make you shorter? does coffe make you shorter?? what makes you shorter?

Take good care of..: yourself and you will grow to your potential.  Have poor health or poor nutrition and you may not grow as tall as you would otherwise.  Coffee has caffeine and this may reduce your appetite for healthy foods but in itself there is no reason for it to make you shorter if you have some now and then.  Exercising will improve your fitness and if you do squats properly they will not make you shorter.
