No : Plastic surgeons and cosmetic dermatologists offer a variety of laser therapies which can help. Natural treatments are not likely to help.

Yes/no and yes: It will not repair stretch marks that are not included in the skin that is removed. And yes, you can get pregnant but it will undo some of your tummy tuck (abdominoplasty).  So, maybe finish with having children before this surgery?  (Some surgeons require that before they will do this surgery).   Be well!

Very difficult: A large point is how do you like yourself.  Excess skin and stretch marks are hard to deal with other than surgery.  There are a few medicines like Mederma to help but quite expensive.  I would work on liking myself and being comfortable with who i am.  I wish i could give you more answers.

Pain: The operation is uncomfortable but most surgeries are. The operation wll remove stretcatks that are below the belly button. Not all the stretch marks can be removed. See a board certified plastic surgeon. For a complete evaluation.

Abdominoplasty: Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) is a great operation for the right candidate to address the abdomen.  It removes excess skin and fat in that region and creates better contour of the abdomen.  All surgical interventions have pain associated but it is controlled with medications.  You should see a board certified palstic surgeon to go over teh details.

: Post operative inflammation and bruising is common. It typically heals in 3-4 weeks. Scarring can be minimized by massaging small amounts of vitamin E or Bio-oil onto completely closed incision site. Otherwise, talk to your operating Dr for follow up instructions.

Possibly: But remember surgery is only one option and not even a viable option for all.  You haven't mentioned why you have stretch marks.  But non-surgical options are laser based treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and blue light treatments.  If you absolutely feel like these need to be addressed seek a formal opinion about all your options.

See MD for checkup: You need to return to your OB MD for a 6 week exam to clear you to begin an exercise program that will begin to provide muscle tone to your abdomen and "tighten" loose skin. Unfortunately, the stretch marks may fade a bit with some of the topical over the counter emollients for that purpose, but will still be your future " badge of motherhood."

: A "tummy tuck" usually is confined to the redundant skin and areas where the elastic portion has been stretched.  If your "stomach is not flat" it may be secondary to fat deposits in your intestines which make the abdomen protrude. This can be corrected only by weight reduction with exercise and diet control.
