Constipation: Provide her with plenty of juices and bran if possible. You may want to give her a daily dose of lactulose until this has resolved. Do not focus on her bowel movements and allow her to talk control. Hopefully this will resolve in a few days. If you are sure, that this is constipation and nothing more serious such as bowel obstruction then you can try increasing the water amount to a liter, and adding soapsuds or mineral oil to the tap water.

Constipation: If you don't even have an urge to move your bowels, you need more fiber in your diet as well as adequate fluid intake. You could try a gentle stimulant like senokot (senna) daily but avoid harsh laxatives. See a gastroenterologist for evaluation and treatment as needed. If you have the urge and can't go, using glycerin rectal suppository or dulcolax rectal suppository May help. Gentle fleets enema also.

Need an exam: You need a GYN MD to perform a pelvic( &amp; rectal) exam to determine the source of your pelvic an rectal pain. There are several possible causes including Endometriosis, inadequate repair of a previous 4th degree laceration/episiotomy, hemorrhoids, etc.

Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
