Boil Therapy: The primary home remedy for most boils is heat application, usually with hot soaks or hot packs. Heat application increases the circulation to the area and allows the body to better fight off the infection by bringing antibodies and white blood cells to the site of infection. My wife uses toothpaste on pimples which is sometimes helpful. Boils that do not respond need to be drained & antibiotics.

Salt water soaks: You may try salt water soaks but whatever you do, do not try to squeeze or pop it yourself.  Take 1 table spoon of salt to a pint (large glass) of warm (not hot) tap water.  Soak a wash cloth in it then let it sit on the "boil" for 5-10 minutes 2-3 times each day.  This may help.

: The most effective treatment for boils depends on their size, but for most would be surgical opening and drainage. Skin tags, again depend on size. Some can be destroyed by application of chemicals; some can be tied of to remove their blood supply after which they drop off.

Dermatitis...: If you suffer of dry skin you can develop what is called atopic dermatitis which is associated with extreme dry skin due to lack of moisturizing substance under the skin, so to say. The treatment usually relies in using moisturizing cream frequently( about there times a day) and bathing with oatmeal based soap. If not better see a Dermatologist(Skin doctor).

Sure: Epsom salts are used commonly for inflammations and can help the discomfort of many inflamed skin conditions. After dissolving,  you should mix the salts into lukewarm to cool water and apply as a compress.  If you use hot water, the boil will become more inflammed.  Healing, however,  requires the content of the boil to drain.

Boils: Hidradenitis suppurativa os the gland related disorder that can give u boils in your armpit.  Surgical options can be available however  boils occurring elsewhere like your back, legs, areas where hair follicles are less can be due to reccurent staph infection. Your nose may carry it.

Not safe: Sponges are not considered clean.  They are actually considered "bacteria hotels".  Not a good idea to be dropping water from a sponge into your nose. See a doctor.

Ur dr needs to C it: You want to make sure that your lesions are not infected, and from your comment that you see green pus present in boils indicates that it needs immediate attention. So don't delay in seeing your doctor, so that they can tell you what your next step is. They may need to use stronger medications to help you control the infection/ inflammation. So just follow what they say to do.
