BP LYING STANDING: The most likely is that when the BP is measured standing the center of the cuff is below heart level. For every inch below heart level can no will be higher by 2 mm Hg.   So 10 inches lower standing will be 20 mm higher. Especially if u use wrist device. Consult with us so we can watch you measure and see if this is a problem. Muscles also lying in that area may be the issue as well.  If there is a history of neck pain that should be evaluated since there could be arthritis, nerve impingement or herniated disks involved.  See a pain/spine specialist to evaluate this.
