this is the 6th time i've had tonsil stones in a year all my dr does is give me amoxicillin can i go to a ent dr and they take tonsils out?

few years ago i had a tracheostomy done. i am fine now but i do have the tracheal tug scar. do i go to a ent or plastic surgeon to fix it.  i heard it is a simple procedure.

Either: There are a few nuances to the operation. Excising the scar at the surface is relatively simple. However, the scar often needs to be be released from its deep attachments around the trachea and measures taken to limit the risk of reattachment following the procedure. The contour of the neck also needs to be addressed. You want to see a ENT or plastic surgeon that has experience with the procedure.

i have cauliflower ear, mainly the middle section of the ear not top.
i have been draining it myself started out being a honey type color, but now is more blood and coagulated blood. 
would i need to go to a ent or a plastic surgeon?

Either: Either an ENT (otolaryngologist) or a plastic surgeon would be able to treat your cauliflower ear.  I would recommend calling several offices and asking if they treat cauliflower ear, because some specialists may have more experience treating this than others depending on their patient population.

FEVER: What is the cause of your fever? why do you need to see an ENT? did your doctor diagnose you with ear, sinus or throat infection? Do you have a neck mass? We have no idea why you are seeing ENT to anticipate what kind of evaluation you are going to have. There is nothing to be worried about. It will be an office exam and I'm sure you will be told what to expect at the visit.

Throat lump: The sensation of a throat lump is often caused by tension and anxiety, a condition called globus hystericus. You could go for an examination to your GP to exclude throat pathology,but in my experience with this condition most patients aren't reassured until they consult an Otolaryngologist(ENT). Stress management therapy can improve globus symptoms should that be your diagnosis.

Lots of study: After 4 years of medical school, 4-6 years of residency and the possibility of a fellowship in a specific area of the Head and Neck, you probably will be 30 to 32 years of age.  Good Luck.
