Fish oil: I recommend 1000- 2000 mgs per day. Curtailing alcohol intake and reducing carbohydrates, especially sweets,also help a lot.

i was diagnosed with ms in feb, 2015. i want to know what lifestyle changes should i adopt. how much vitamin d and fish oil should i take on a daily basis? which exercises can i do other than yoga ? will too much exercise flare up my symptoms?

Answers: Would highly recommend Concierge or INBOX consult, but here are a few comments:
Use a disease modifying agent, take enough Vit D-3 to get blood levels about 50-70 ng/ml, follow a low fat/low salt diet, do aerobic exercise about thrice weekly.
Exercise may over heat you so pace yourself.  Make certain that your basic medication is potent, discuss with MS focused neurologist.

Yes: Biotin, zinc, B12 and omega 3 fatty acids (found in fish oil) are all essential nutrients and perfectly safe to take daily. I would avoid taking more than 40 mg a day of zinc long-term unless you have a condition like pyrroluria which creates a need for more. Some brands of fish oil are much better than others- my favorites are nordic naturals ; omegavail by designs for health.

Raise. Melatonin: To overcome the insomnia which is rare and generally resolves with time. Google sleep hygiene. Try passionflower, chamomile, valerian, kava-kava(may be toxic to liver rarely), or a warm bath with lavender candles.

Of the supplements: you are taking, only the fish oil could potentially affect your platelet function and interact with the Aleve. Even with that it is highly unlikely to cause a clinical problem for you.

Yes: The combination of aspirin and EFA-fish oil has been used with good effect especially for those with DM as they may be less sensitivt to aspirin's platelet effect and the combination is much more effective

Supplementation: Yes, I would spread out the oils just to help absorption. Taking the multivitamin with the oils may hinder absorption of the water soluble vitamins.
