Since antibacterial resistance has become a major issue you would be best to be seen by a doctor expert in the area of STDs.  Probably need culture and sensitivity.

The current treat-: ment for gonorrhea is 1 gm of azithromycin followed by a shot of rocephin(ceftriaxone)250 mg IM. ,due to resistance of gonorrhea germ. You might not have been treated thoroughly enough to get rid of the gonorrhea.

No: Current cdc recommendations for gonorrhea and chlmydia are a single dose of Ceftriaxone 250 mg (shot) and a single dose of Azithromycin 1g (by mouth). Instead of Azithromycin you could do Doxycycline 100 mg by mouth twice a day for 7 days. Treatment for pelvic inflammatory disease (more severe infection in females) cannot be done in a single dose.

STD: I would err on the side of caution and treat with a further course of doxycycline 100mg twice daily for 10 days.  The chlamydia may not be gone.

It may: This is standard one stop therapy for STD's whether testing is positive or may be falsely negative. There are other possibilities that may become apparent over time but this hits the ones that are treatable &amp; easily passed to others.
