Medrol: There is no reason not to take a steroid pack every month IF THERe IS  medical indication for prescribing that. However steroids taken too frequently and with out proper indications can lead to complications

Sciatica pain: is quite often treated successfully with steroid taper, most often using prednisone or methylprednisolone such as Medrol.   Kenalog (triamcinolone) can also be given as an IM injection or Depo-Medrol as well.

ItMayIfDueToAllergy: It will only help if the congestion is due to Allergy.But it has to be prescribed by a doctor.You can try over the counter decongestants like sudafed for congestion as long as you dont suffer from Hypertension.If you suffer from seasonal Allergies you can take combination pills like ClaritinD 24 hours or another brand once a day for allergy and congestion for quick symptoms relief

That is the treatment often used for recurrent sinusitis in adults, but there are other successful regimens. Medrol is a steroid and, therefore, shouldn't be used often. Different effect : A Medrol (methylprednisolone) dose pack is a steroid, that's a very potent anti-inflammatory. If naprosyn's not working, you need to find the cause of the problem. Best is to see an osteopathic physician, who can do a full osteopathic examination of your neck and spine, and provide treatment of your neck to reduce pain . She s/he will diagnose, and order additional tests and labs as needed.

i have a suspected bulging disc in my neck causing bad back and left arm pain and numbness. urgent care doc gave me a medrol dose pack which i finished today. it helped. should the pain relief continue for a few days until i can see my ortho doc?

: The steroids can help for several more days but will be unlikely to maintain stability for much longer.  If you do indeed possess a nerve root compression, you could potentially receive further relief from an epidural steroid injection and physical therapy, motorized cervical traction.
