i take provera (medroxyprogesterone) 10mg for 10 days 4 pcos. i usually get a period 5 days after stopping but got it right after my 5th. tablet last time.  is this normal?

Sometimes: It depends on the underlying problem.  Sometimes a short course of Provera (medroxyprogesterone) that is used to cause you to have a period will 'kick start' things and you will resume a normal cycle.  If it does not then you can take the medicine again.

Breakthrough bleedin: Taking hormones, for example combined birth control pills that contain estrogen and progestrone or provera is no guarantee that there will not be breakthrough bleeding.

Be patient: First you have to finish the pills, then it can be anywhere up to even 2 weeks for bleeding to start (though its usually earlier.) Just be patient, you can't make it hurry.
