Natural course: Be sure you have enough sleep at night. It is common for people to have what is called alkaline tide or hamburger shift after lunch, and unfortunately so. Proper diet is all we need. I don't believe in vitamin supplementation unless really necessary. The only two used as real vitamins in your system are a and k. The rest are used for the metabolism of food which are present in the foods anyway.

Probably none: Most Americans get the daily vitamins they need with eating.  Vitamins, particularly multi-vitamins, are useless. They usually do not hurt you.  Unless you are a strict vegetarian, pregnant, on a restricted diet,  are currently fighting cancer or some other illness, or have a definite proven deficiency, they are only good for the sellers.  Save your money and get a gym membership for best results

Cold?: There are many reasons one might feel cold from vascular to neurological to endocrine to psychiatric etc. see an MD for a proper workup before you waste your money on vitamins

Doubtful: You should tell your doctor about unwanted
effects that occur during treatment: this is not a common side effect of he drug.

Low: deficiency is less than 20, 20-29 is insufficiency and 30 to 80 is optimal. Your PCP may place on Vit D supplements

Goals: Will have to be set prior to take any chemicals. While vitamins may help individuals with deficient states and/or symptoms attributable to specific deficiencies, vitamin supplements are no longer believed to have proven effects, maybe with the exception of placebo effect. Talk to your treating physician if you would be a good candidate for vitamin supplementation.

Vitamin : For a young healthy person, simply eating a healthy diet rich in leafy green vegetables, red and orange vegetables, some fish   is sufficient.  One might consider a multivitamin, but this is probably not necessary if you are eating right.  Green veggies are rich in lutein and orange veggies have lots of beta carotene in them. Both compounds are good for eyes.

Un-necessary usually: IV vitamin preparations have been promoted by several clinic systems over the years, and there has never been convincing evidence of any profound contribution to health maintenance or recovery from chronic disease.  Some isolated roles perhaps exist, but I would discuss fully with your doctor whether such a direction should be pursued and why?
