28 day cycle: Since you count cycle length from the first day of one period to the first day of the next,if you have a 28 day cycle your period should start 28 days after the last one started.This would be 14 days after ovulation or, in this case, 4/9/15.Remember, however, that some variation is normal. If your period hasn't started yet,it is time to check a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is -.

Is : Is there a possibility you are pregnant? If so this could explain the prolonged bleeding. Otherwise, things such as uterine fibroids, cervical lesions, or infections can cause bleeding like this. Please see your doctor for a complete work up and treatment.

If urine : pregnancy test is negative, you likely are having irregular ovulation, later sometimes. Possible insulin resistance/polycystic ovarian syndrome. If so testing and treatment can help your goal of pregnancy.

Irregular menses: First of all you MUST see your GYN regarding your periods- that is NOT normal for it to last soo long and you need a hormone workup and certainly get on Birth Control pills- You may be anemic if that is happening too.
As for a pregnancy- unlikely but not impossible given your irregular schedule. Go to the GYN and get tested for pregnancy along with a review of your hormones- please do it!!

Depends on your age: In teens or perimenopausal females, menstrual cycles can be irregular because of fluctuating hormone levels. If you are in neither of these groups, causes include: starting or stopping oral contraceptives, STD's, infections, stress, increased/decreased weight, drugs or meds. Make sure to mention this to your Dr if it persists. Exam and testing can allow the Dr to treat any underlying conditions.

Your heavy period and the change in frequency so suddenly suggest some problems that should be evaluated . Start keeping track of your bleeding days and see your gynecologist. You may have a hormonal imbalance, such as a thyroid problem.
