how long will it take to get a one time dose of 150mg of zantac out of your system after taking it?

Not monitored: Zantac is not a substance of abuse and would not need to be tracked for elimination from the body. Most of it would be out of your system in a day or so.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

how long does it take for zantac (ranitidine) 150 to completely leave your system? i took 1 dose 2 nights ago and am having abdominal pain and i'm very lightheaded

Get yourself checked: Zantac (ranitidine) 150 mg should leave your body in less than 24 hours.  It should not case any of the symptoms that you are describing. You need to see a doctor for alternative explanation of your symptoms.

had acid reflux since i was 12 (18 yrs) and only zantac (ranitidine) has worked, no other otc. it no longer works, even at 150 mg 3-4x daily. any other otc sugg?

Get re-checked. C MD: If you have chronic symptoms, and no longer getting relief from your usual meds, you need to get re-evaluated (assuming that you have been evaluated by a doc in the first place and have not just been self medicating).

Not likely: Shortness of breath is not a common side effect of Zantac (ranitidine).  If you are experiencing shortness of breath, you should contact your doctor right away, or be seen in an Urgent Care or ER.

recently diagnosed with gastritis, prevacid worked for awhile but is no longer! no ins/doc, any advice...i have zantac 150, would that work? dosage?

Zantac : Try the Zantac that you have at home. Give it a week or two, if not better, then you can try nexium.

hi, so taking too many tums for heartburn is not good but also taking otc zantac (ranitidine) for periods longer than 14 days is not good. what other meds are safe?

The PPIs.: OTC medications like Prilosec or Prevacid (lansoprazole) are stronger than what you have been taking.  But the fact remains that if your symptoms are not relieved after a week or two of medication you need to see a doctor to confirm your diagnosis and see if any formal investigative testing may be needed.

lpr causing swallowing problems. im on ppi with zantac & gaviscon. throat feels sore & some foods seems longer to go down. any further advice please?

Different diagnosis?: Although LPR or GERD does not always respond to medication treatment ( surgery may be needed for some), it does not usually cause food to get stuck  (in rare cases, prolonged reflux may need to stricture from scarring). I suspect you may be suffering from Eosinophilic esophagitis which may improve with certain dietary avoidance. Consult a GI specialist to get an evaluation.

Pharmacist: Your pharmacist can be very helpful in answering questions like this or about any of your medications. You can take both, but take the zantac on an empty stomach as gaviscon can interfere with its entry into the stomach or its digestion.

Probably not: It is higher than the recommended maximum daily dose of 300 mg but it should not present any major issues.
